Our Web Planning Phase kicks off the entire project. If design services are part of the scope of work, then we begin with a Site Planning Meeting to discuss the following: public web site goals, customer vocabulary, information organization, minimizing required clicks, and extensive design interview/preferences.
When the scope of work includes customizing web software/engines to help you manage your web site, business processes or customer information, then the Addison Whitepaper process will apply, starting with an interview and ending with screenshots for each major aspect of the software system.
The end of this phase marks the beginning of the information collection stage where we collect any and all copy and/or pictures that have been agreed to be provided by you.
If marketing services have been selected, then at this point, we will plan the meta tags and other corresponding code level aspects that may impact your Google registration.

From all of the data collected in the design interview, planning phase and data collection stage, is taken into consideration as our designer begins to create various drafts of your potential design motif. Once our designer is happy with the different design samples/motifs, we are ready to present them to you. (The number of design motifs/samples provided is selected by you in the proposal.)
At the close of the Design Presentation meeting, you may request minor changes to the designs to hone in on the perfect motif for your new web site.

Once a design motif has been selected and approved by you, the html implementation may begin. Our team takes the approved design motif and builds out the code, allowing us to carefully craft each page. This step also includes the implementation of any required web site security needs.
If you have elected to have software/database engines to be part of your web site and initiative, this is typically the point when we start building out your software so that the public view of the data stored is consistent with the HTML and design motif. The end of this phase includes tying the database into the web site.
Also during the implementation phase, we provide domain management services and business class (domain) email setup and migration.

When database is running aspects of the web site, this phase will include the training or introduction to how to use the database and full web site. At this point we have already taken the site through an extensive Quality Assurance process, however it is now your turn and once we have your approval; we can launch the site. During this period, we can determine any special requests for our Live Help personnel, such as sharing your standard office hours, or maybe when to give the visitor your private line when they are a serious prospect, etc.

Many businesses make the erroneous assumption that if you have a web site, Google will index you successfully. Others make the equally erroneous assumption that if they have the correct meta tags, that they will be indexed by Google adequately. Google currently takes into consideration the words on your web site, combined with the outside web sites linked to you, the frequency of these sites being updated, the relevancy of your information combined with the date it was posted.
As a result, successful web marketing approaches REQUIRE ongoing activity. We recommend daily activity, but of course each budget varies and places a different amount of importance on a top ranking.
Our web marketing process begins with prep that happened back in our planning phase and implementation phase, but that information was solely the building blocks for the real activity that ranges from blogging to ancillary directory listings, online ads and additional web copy.

The phrase "Web Site Management" contradicts a common misnomer. Many take the approach that you build a web site and then allow it to sit for a few years. Today's web requires ongoing content additions either via web marketing or just with content updates to the site on a regular basis. Web site management also includes services such as Live Help, whereas we are staffing the site on your behalf, helping to convert visitors into contacts and customers. Quarterly reviews of web statistics allow us to analyze these metrics and improve upon the web site based on how your visitors have grown to use the web site.
The web site management process funnels your information into your web site and extensions of the web site such as your business profile Facebook page or blog site. This process encourages interaction between you and your customer.
