The following are just a few of the life lessons we've learned in our experience
developing web sites for the masses. Make sure your web initiative is well planned,
developed and promoted. Consider what we consider key.

#1 - Integrate The Web Into Your Business.

The biggest myth surrounding the Internet today is that simply
building a web site makes for a complete Internet business strategy. Many companies
in the past five years have learned the hard way that this idea is not the case. Building
an effective web site takes an investment of money, time, and creativity. An
equally serious commitment is required to draw people to what you have created.
Without a firm effort to make the Internet a central part of your business, your
web site might not be worth the effort that you have put into it. A well planned
web site is feasible.
In fact, according to the SBA, 3.5 million dollars in revenue was generated by small
businesses via the Internet in 1997, and this amount is expected to reach 25 billion by the
year 2002. (Small businesses are defined as fewer than 500 employees.)
